Lin Xinye is an award-winning multidimensional artist, designer and book author who bridges hyper-traditional concepts with hyper-contemporary techniques.
After studying urban planning in China, Xinye graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a Master's in Architecture.
By synthesizing Eastern philosophy, advanced soft/hardware technologies, the Chinese culture, concepts of Wuxing and Yinyang, twenty-seven years of guzheng experience, her chanting, and her personal meditation practices, her work orchestrates immersive multi-sensorial spaces that rejuvenate the mind, body, and soul.
Xinye's work has been featured in prestigious exhibitions at renowned institutions such as Times Square, the United Nations, the CHSA Museum, the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum, the CICA Museum, the RISD Alumni Magazine, the Hong Kong Biennale, and International Art Festivals such as Boston Illuminus and Digital Graffiti, etc.
As an Asian female artist, Xinye has faced numerous difficulties and challenges throughout her growth. She understands that everyone encounters different obstacles and experiences various pains on their life journey. Her mission is to transform emotions into something beautiful and powerful. Xinye's art focuses on spiritual exploration, providing solace to every soul and infusing it with courage.
